    1. DAY 1: ARRIVE IN HO CHI MINH CITY (SAIGON)

      Upon arrival at Tan Son Nhat International Airport, still often called Saigon by many locals, the local guide and driver will meet up and transfer you to your hotel.
      Experience Vietnam’s chaotic biggest cities, Ho Chi Minh City with its vibrating energy and fascinating culture. This dazzling city still proudly boasts French colonial charm from its architecture to its food.
      The rest of the day is yours to relax after a long journey, and do a little exploring city at your own leisure.

    2. DAY 2: HO CHI MINH – HISTORICAL CITY TOUR

      Beginning your journey at the iconic Reunification Palace, the former residence of Indochina Governor General and later of the President of the Republic of Southern Vietnam. The historical building reminisces the fall of Saigon regime in April 30th 1975. Subsequently, the next worth visiting building is the former US embassy where the last American helicopters fled. Then, we stop at the site where the famous Buddhist Thich Quang Duc self- immolated in June 11th, 1963. After his funeral, where his remains were finally reduced to ashes, his heart had not burned, was instead retrieved, enshrined, and treated as a sacred relic. His self- immolation triggered the uprising, which later led to the fall of President Diem regime.
      It’s time to visit Cao Dai Temple @ 891 Tran Hung Dao Street for an interesting noon service. Cao Dai is a new religious movement found only in Vietnam. It combines Buddhism, Christianity, Taoism, Confucianism and Islam. There is a ceremonial service taken every 6 hours, known as the most colorful ceremony of Vietnam.
      Today you will try Pho – Vietnamese noodle, as considered the national dish of Vietnam.
      Afternoon, we make a stop at the site of the US Embassy and visit the War Remnants Museum, which features a comprehensive collection of the machinery, weapons, photos, and documentation of Vietnam War with the both French and Americans.
      To round off the trip, we stop at a central city café where you’ll have a coffee while enjoying the city vibrant life.
      This tour is unlike anything available at the moment. Especially to well-travelled destinations, you are offered with a little bit extra by setting apart from the rest and creating an identity all of your own. We have combine together a tour that takes you to a side of Saigon rarely visited, however, nonetheless exotic. Saigon Historical Tour combines the local culture and history and we believe it will be a memorable day and an experience you’ll cherish from your time here in Vietnam.

    3. DAY 3: HO CHI MINH CITY – CU CHI TUNNEL & WATERBUS

      Back when war was raging in Vietnam, the only way for the soldiers to survive the carpet-bombings was to live underground. The Cu Chi Tunnels give you a sneak-peek of how the soldiers live amid chaos and unrest. The site has over 120 km of a tunnel system that’s complete with living areas, kitchen, hospitals, and command centers.
      Explore inside the tunnels and imagine the conditions faced by both sides; tunnels were often booby trapped and examples of traps used are on display.
      Cu Chi is definitely worthy of what has been named the “heroic village” of Vietnam.
      Then transfer back to your hotel in Ho  Chi Minh for relaxing. 
      Ho Chi Minh City is surrounded by the poetic Saigon River. Saigon River winds around the city, creating many beautiful peninsulas such as Thu Thiem and Thanh Da. While some places as Bui Vien or Ben Thanh Market are getting more crowded and bored, why don't you try to discover the soul of this land - Saigon River. Maybe you will realize many miracles, a more accurate view of the land once called Paris of Indochina or the Pearl of the Far East.
      Later, you will take the waterbus at Bach Dang Wharf -a beautiful park located in the center of Saigon.
      You can stop at Thanh Da peninsula, this peninsula is a beautiful place and still quite untouched. In this peninsula, there are many old apartment buildings, this is one of a few places still remain the original Saigon.
      Here you can enjoy a glass of "Cafe Sua Da", then return to Ben Bach Dang where the driver is awaiting for transferring to your hotel.

    4. DAY 4: HO CHI MINH CITY – MEKONG DELTA (MY THO & AP BAC)

      This morning we drive to the little changed battlefield of Ap Bac, a pivotal battle of the Vietnam War and a potent for the eventual failure in South Vietnam. Thence to My Tho, a centre of operations for US and Australian troops, to explore the Mekong Delta by boat to learn more about the US Brown Water Navy.
      After finishing your sightseeing tour your guide will take you to a restaurant for lunch with local specialties then return to the pier and drive back to Ho Chi Minh City.
      This evening you will be free to visit the night market to discover the authentic local cuisine. Or have a dinner at the famous Rex Hotel or just simply enjoy a glass of cocktail on the rooftop bar of the historic Rex hotel. (on own arrangement).

    5. DAY 5: HO CHI MINH CITY – VUNG TAU

      After check out hotel, we will depart for Vung Tau.
      In the afternoon, your city tour takes you to a scenic vista of this refreshing sea town. Pay a visit to the largest pagoda of the city – Lying Buddha Pagoda and the gorgeous colonial-era residence of King Bao Dai – White Palace are also remarkable destinations in this day tour to Vung Tau City.

    6. DAY 6: VUNG TAU - HO CHI MINH CITY

      Today we will have a half day touring the Australian area of operations during the Vietnam War. Travel to Hoa Long village to visit Nui Dat - where Australian force set up the base in 1966. Visit the old bunkers, Kangaroo pad, SAS hill (Nui Dat hill), Lusbcome air field, the battalion’s Flag pole. Visit Nui Dat Kindergarten which is built by Australian Veterans for children in the village in 2002.
      Going to Long Tan village to visit the Long Tan Cross which was re-built by Australian Veterans for 18 soldiers who pass away in the battle of Long Tan in 1966, then The Horse shoe-fire support base; Long Phuoc tunnel, museum.
      After this tour, head back to Ho Chi Minh city. Check in your hotel and free at leisure.

    7. DAY 7: HO CHI MINH CITY - DEPARTURE

      Today you will be transferred to Tan Son Nhat International Airport, to catch your departure flight home!
