TRAVEL INFORMATION

1) Our tour can be further tailor-made to suit the client’s specific requirements (applied for the private tour – not joining group tour).

2) All the tour programs are open and flexible. You can even make final changes when you are on tour.

3)The price includes the following hotels, activities, and transport, all domestic flights and visits to attractions are by private vehicle and guide unless otherwise stated.

4) Your guide will pick you up from lobby of your hotel around 08:00am – 09:00am. If you prefer to start next day’s trip earlier or a little later, please feel free to tell your guide.

5)The hotel star rating is approximate only because there is a huge disparity between grading systems in each country. There is no international governing body and this leads to a vast difference in each “star” (*) category from one country to the next.

6) Local tour guide(s): On arrival at each destination airport you will always be greeted punctually by your tour guide who will tour with you on the following days.
All of our tour guides in every destination are locals. Knowing the area well, they are good at guiding you around and telling background stories of the tour sites, as well as showing you the secret spots for best photos. If any change of itinerary is needed for unexpected reasons, your tour guides will be more than accommodating in suggesting alternatives to ensure that you always have a wonderful experience.

7) Your private vehicle & licensed driver: We will use the private car(s) for your tour (Based on group size, we will arrange the car of 7seats/16s/29s/35s/45s). With your comfortable and safe transportation, your tour will be more relaxing and less tiresome, keeping you in the best spirits to make the most out of your journey across Southeast Asia.
Your vehicle in each destination is air conditioned, insured, clean, and regularly maintained. Your driver is licensed and always put your safety first.

8) Meals: Breakfast is normally served at the hotel where you stay. Lunch/Dinners may or may not are included in your meal plan unless necessary or you have that requirement. You will have the freedom to make your own lunch/dinner choice. Enjoying the local food could be one of your best experiences in “tasty” Indochina area. This is why we provide you this flexibility of food choice. Your tour guide will always give you good suggestions based on your preferences.
If you have certain food allergies or special requirements such as vegetarian food, let us know. We will do our best to accommodate your needs.

9) Visa to Vietnam:
Visitors from the following countries may enter visa free, and stay for the indicated number of days
ASIA
-Brunei, Myanmar – 14 days.
-Japan, South Korea (ROK) – 15 days.
-The Philippines – 21 days.
-Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand – 30 days.
EUROPE
-Belarus, Denmark, Italy, Finland, France, Germany, Norway, Russia, Spain, Sweden, The United Kingdom – 15 days.
-To stay beyond this number of days, you may apply for a visa extension upon your arrival in Vietnam.
VISA REQUIRED
Simply apply online for your tourist E-visa, valid for 30 days. E-visa fee is US$25, the processing time is 3-7 working days. You will receive your code by email to print your visa.

10) The weather: During your travelling period, it will be a hot in whole country (27-33 degree of Celsius) and may raining in South Vietnam (Ho Chi Minh city), Siem Reap (Cambodia). For that weather, please bring sun glasses, hat, raincoats/umbrellas, sun cream, walking shoes, short, T shirts and sandals…

11) Traffic and getting around the city:
-Vietnam: You may undergo a little “culture-shock” with traffic in Vietnam. Crossing the road seems impossible and motorists use a lot of horns and noise. Not to worry! The tour guides will help you get around safely. However, the best way to get around in the city is by taxi. The recommended taxis are Mai Linh Taxi (green colored, with M-logo) or Vinasun (yellow colored). Flag fare is less than 1 US Dollar for the first 1 km and approximately 1 US Dollar for the next 1 km.
-Cambodia: Though traffic is getting more congested by the day, rest assured that your tour guide will help you get around safely. The best transportation is by motorcycle trailer called Tuk tuk (moto-romauk). Tuk Tuk transportation has become quite popular and drivers for hire gather in popular tourist areas. Approximate rate may be $3-4 USD for short trips.

12) Other tips:
– Tipping: Not compulsory but recommended. Tipping for guides are on average $5-$10 per day/group and a half of that for the driver. Upon your satisfaction, Tipping is not expected only if they do a good job then you can tip as you feel.
– Currency: You can withdraw cash from ATM machines. ATM’s are widely used in all cities. The official currency of Vietnam is the Vietnam dong (VND). The official currency of Cambodia is the Cambodian Riel (KHR).
The exchange rate: 1 USD ~ 23,500.00 VND (Vietnamese dong), 1 USD ~ 4000 Riel (Cambodian currency).
In Vietnam, you should change US dollars to Vietnamese dong at the bank/money exchange office/hotel. Vendors are not officially allowed to accept currency other than the VND so make sure not to be caught out without the local currency.
In Cambodia, US dollars is widely used everywhere, you don’t need to exchange USD to Riel.
– Exchange money: Most ATMs in the country accept Visa or Master Card. In all of the major airports, there are money exchanges booths. If missing them, you can exchange US$ to VND in the jewelry and gold shops or at hotel.
Many of the local banks limit you from withdrawing more than $100USD at a time. Although, depending on your bank account, you can withdraw as much as $250USD from an HSBC ATM and $400USD from Citibank.
– Clothing: Appropriate attire when visiting temples/pagodas in Vietnam & Cambodia is long pants (covering the knee) and Shirt or blouse covering your shoulder. Skirts, small shorts, tank tops, and other items of revealing clothing are not allowed within temple grounds (Angkor Temples). Visitors can and are frequently turned away from temples when wearing revealing clothing.
– Medication: While many common medications are available in Vietnam & Cambodia, navigating the language and communicating the need may not be something you have time for in an emergency. It’s best to pack a few precautionary items with you, especially for minor illnesses and complaints such as band-aids, antibacterial, headache medicine, something for an upset stomach or diarrhea, hand sanitizer, lip balm, insect repellent, allergy medication, cold medicine, sunscreen, tissue and antiseptic wipes.
Medical services at international hospitals/clinics is available 24/24 hours.
– Internet: Vietnam/Cambodia has a relatively fast Internet connection. WI-FI can be found at a mean everywhere (hotels/restaurants/café shop…)
If you want to have the Internet while you are out and about, a 4G SIM card is extremely affordable. A $10-$15 SIM card can last you for a month with 4-5GB of data.
– Electricity: The standard voltage is 220 Volt and the frequency is 50 Hertz.
Power plugs and sockets are of the following types: type A, type C. Plug type A has two flat parallel pins, plug type C has two round pins.
– Shopping: Vietnam is a shopper’s paradise. Wood products are better purchased in the south, ceramics in the north. Silk in Vietnam is of some of the highest quality in the world.
– Warning: Pick–pocket could be happened everywhere. So please keep your hand bag/ camera/valuable belongings carefully.
Please always keep your eye on your belongings when walking in crowed area or at night-time.
– Passport and other valuables: During excursions, it is not advisable to take passports or valuables. These items can be kept in the safe available in your hotel room. Like other major cities throughout the world, pickpockets thrive where there are large numbers of tourists. Remain vigilant at all times.
Before you check out your hotel room, please pack up all your belongings and make sure to lock up your luggage. Please DO NOT pack your passport or important documents and valuable belongings into your luggage.
