  1. DAY 1: ARRIVAL IN HANOI

    Welcome to Hanoi – Vietnam. Upon arrival to Noi Bai Airport, you are warmly greeted by Goway Asia Travel’s team and then take you to hotel in downtown for check-in. The rest of the day is yours to relax or exploring Old Quarter area on your own.

  2. DAY 2: HANOI - CITY TOUR

    After breakfast, pay your respect to the nation’s founder at the Ho Chi Minh Complex and Ba Dinh Square, an important point of pilgrimage for the Vietnamese. Explore the nearby simple cottage on stilts where Ho Chi Minh lived and worked during his humble beginnings as a revolutionary. Gain insight into the prewar history of the country at the Governor’s Residence, also known as the Presidential Palace, an excellent example of Hanoi’s classical French architectural heritage, and Ho Chi Minh refused to live in the opulent structure for symbolic reasons, opting to build a traditional Vietnamese stilt house on the grounds instead. Stop by the iconic One Pillar Pagoda - a unique Vietnamese architecture reminiscent of a lotus blossom rising from a pond and hear the legend of its construction. Before have a lunch, we stop to visit the first place named Tran Quoc Pagoda, a Buddhist relic and national heritage lying on the West Lake.
    Afternoon, continue with the Temple of Literature, built in 1070 and dedicated to Confucius. Move on to the famous Hanoi Train Street, a little area hidden amidst the hectic and narrow streets where trains pass every day, hurling through the residential street, mere couple steps away from blocks of houses on two sides. Sip a cup of Vietnamese coffee at a tiny café by the train track while your guide is present about the local culture & history.
    Later, hop on a cyclo, one of the most typical vehicles in Hanoi, is a human-powered transport with a seat at the front for passengers and the driver at the back. With this an hour leisurely ride, which is perfect chance for photos and slow-moving sightseeing, you will have a great chance to have the local closer touch. The rest of day, enjoy Water puppet show - one of Vietnamese traditional performance.

  3. DAY 3: HANOI – HALONG BAY – OVERNIGHT ON CRUISE

    After breakfast, your private tour guide will pick you up and take you through the rich farmlands of the Red River Delta to the legendary Halong Bay where you will board a cruise that is your home for the evening. The limestone karsts and tropical islets rising up from the emerald waters of the bay provide an ethereal backdrop for your leisurely cruise.
    Upon arrival at noon, you will embark on a cruise in the must-see Halong Bay. This world-famous bay is one of the most beautiful landscapes in Vietnam, with its giant rock islets covered in luxuriant vegetation overlooking the waters. Halong Bay includes some 1,900 islands and islets of rocky peaks, often uninhabited and unvisited.
    This scene creates a spectacular marine landscape, which earned it UNESCO World Heritage status in 1994. You will be served lunch and dinner aboard with excellent and freshly caught seafood from the bay. At the end of the day, you will have the chance to enjoy a night fishing session on the boat.

  4. DAY 4: HALONG BAY - HANOI - FLY DANANG - HOIAN

    Start the day with calming Tai Chi session on the sun deck. We will pass beautiful spots while having a light breakfast. In this morning, you are free to choose to explore a cave on an island or just spend your time soaking up some sun. After checking out from your cabin, we have a brunch on board. Around noon, we arrive back at Halong harbor. It's time to say goodbye to Halong Bay and head to Hanoi Airport (Noi Bai Domestic Airport) to catch the short departure flight to Danang.
    Upon arrival at Danang airport, you are welcomed by the local guide and driver. They will send you to the Hoian ancient town. Check in hotel & Free at leisure.

  5. DAY 5: HOIAN - FULL DAY OF INTERESTING ACTIVITIES

    After breakfast, you will be picked up from your hotel to visit a local fishing village by cycling on level ground to the Thu Bon River. For safety purposes, you will be given a short bicycle competency test. For those uncomfortable with riding a bicycle, a transfer by motorbike or taxi can be arranged.
    Ride along country lanes at a peaceful pace viewing local life and pause to see farmers toiling in their rice fields using centuries of farming practices. Peddle your way through palm forests, across bridges, fields of water buffalo…
    Take a short break in a local family at Cam Thanh Village before enjoying a 1.5 hours ride on Traditional Basket Boat (round boat) in the Water Coconut Palm Forest. Learn how to sail the basket boat and spend your time to catch fishes and “purple crabs” in the Canal.
    Continue to ride your bike to Tra Que Organic Vegetable Village where a large variety of vegetables is produced for the local community. At the village, you will be shown the environmentally sustainable practices which the local villagers have used for centuries and is still being used extensively today.
    After some farming practices, head a local family to enjoy a foot massage and the traditional herbal foot dip. You will then ride back to the hotel to rest during the day. Get ready for the afternoon walking & foodie tour.
    Afternoon, continue your trip to the Ancient Quarter of Hoi An, a UNESCO World Heritage Site where you will embark on a walking tour visiting the major attractions such as Chua Ong Pagoda, Tan Ky Ancient House, Fujian Assembly Hall, and the Japanese Covered Bridge.
    Continue to visit the Precious Heritage Museum, home to the permanent exhibition of Réhahn’s Precious Heritage Collection. While transporting you to the furthest reaches of Vietnam, the collection will unveil the rich cultural tapestry of the ethnic tribes.
    As known for its antique architecture, its small narrow alleys and colourful tasty culinary, Hoian is also famous for larnterns when the night comes.
    Hoi An is a food lover’s paradise, famous for its wonderful cuisine and delicious street food. Now, it’s time for your Hoi An street food discovery tour. With your guide, you will weave in and out the tiny alleyways, get to chow down with the locals at stalls you’d never discover on your own. Every day at 4 pm, Hoi An’s streets filled with a myriad of street food carts, stalls, and vendors. The street food tour will give you an unforgettable and delicious culinary experience as we sample many local specialties. The town is a melting pot of cultures, which has influenced its cuisine. Originating in the 15th century as an important South East Asian commercial port, it became home to many Chinese traders and merchants; hence, the strong influence of Chinese cuisine, which is guided by the forces of Yin and Yang to create a regulating balance of flavors and textures. The French, Japanese and Indians also contributed to the town’s unique cuisine.

  6. DAY 6: HOIAN - DANANG - FLY TO HO CHI MINH CITY

    Spend your morning to relax at your leisure in this UNESCO heritage town, which has some of the best food, architecture, and shopping in all of Vietnam.
    Hoi An is the perfect place to potter around, shop at the many tailor stores, and dine at the town’s fabulous restaurants. In this town, you can get a suit/ tuxedo made within 24 hours at a reasonable price.
    Your guide and driver will meet you at hotel and take you to Danang Airport for a short flight to Ho Chi Minh City, previously known as Saigon.
    Upon arrival, you are welcomed by the local guide and driver. They will send you to hotel in town. Check in hotel & Free for the rest.
    Ho Chi Minh City is surrounded by the poetic Saigon River. Saigon River winds around the city, creating many beautiful peninsulas such as Thu Thiem and Thanh Da. While some places as Bui Vien or Ben Thanh Market are getting more crowded and bored, why don't you try to discover the soul of this land - Saigon River. Maybe you will realize many miracles, a more accurate view of the land once called Paris of Indochina or the Pearl of the Far East.
    Later, you will take the waterbus at Bach Dang Wharf -a beautiful park located in the center of Saigon.
    You can stop at Thanh Da peninsula, this peninsula is a beautiful place and still quite untouched. In this peninsula, there are many old apartment buildings, this is one of a few places still remain the original Saigon.
    Here you can enjoy a glass of "Cafe Sua Da", then return to Ben Bach Dang.

  7. DAY 7: HO CHI MINH CITY – HISTORICAL TOUR & CU CHI TUNNELS

    This morning, you will be transferred to visit Cu Chi Tunnels. At its height, the tunnel system stretched over 250km. from Saigon to the Cambodian border and was three levels deep. The network included innumerable trap doors, specially constructed living areas, storage facilities, weapons factories, field hospitals, command centers and kitchens. Today the remaining tunnels have become a major tourist attraction giving the visitor a unique experience and a feel of what underground life during the U.S.-Vietnam American must have been like. Return the city at noon time for a rest.
    In the afternoon, stop at the site where the famous Buddhist Thich Quang Duc self- immolated in June 11th, 1963. After his funeral, where his remains were finally reduced to ashes, Quang Duc's heart had not burned, was instead retrieved, enshrined, and treated as a sacred relic. His self- immolation triggered the uprising, which later led to the fall of President Diem regime. Another tour inclusion is the Reunification Palace, a former residence of Indochina Governor General and later of the President of the Republic of Southern Vietnam. The historical building reminisces the fall of Saigon regime in April 30th 1975. Subsequently, the next worth visiting building is the former US embassy where the last American helicopters fled.
    The last stop today would be at Ben Thanh market where is to stock up on souvenirs, T-shirts, bags, coffee and other local products. Discover local life and culture if shopping is not your mission.

  8. DAY 8: HO CHI MINH - BEN TRE - TRA VINH - CAN THO

    Begins the day by picking you up at your hotel and heading down to the Mekong Delta, with our first stop being Ben Tre.
    You'll start your exploration of the Delta along a narrow canal lined with mangrove trees, before returning to land for by taking a sampan along a narrow canal lined with mangrove trees, before returning to land for a stroll ride through dense coconut plantations. Then return to the quayside in Ben Tre, where the bustling market and streets full of commercial activity provides a vibrant tableau for street photography.
    In the afternoon, you'll head to the Khmer cultural heartland of Tra Vinh, where we will visit some of the 141 Khmer temples practicing the Theravada branch of Buddhism – a wonderful opportunity to experience these serene, peaceful places and get some wonderful portraits of the young monks in their saffron-coloured robes.
    You will then head to Can Tho - the capital of Mekong Delta. In the evening, take the short walk to the night market by your own way.

  9. DAY 9: CAI RANG FLOATING MARKET - RACH GIA - SPEEDBOAT TO PHU QUOC ISLAND

    Rise early for a boat trip to Cai Rang market, the biggest floating wholesale market of the Mekong region. The market is filled with hundreds of small boats darting through the water as vendors sell their wares. Glide through the matrix of boats to see how the locals trade their fruits and vegetables and learn more about the floating marketing culture and the floating life on the boats.
    Leaving the market, continue your boat ride along narrow canals to visit a traditional homemade rice noodle factory where you can see how the locals make rice noodles, and enjoy the homemade “rice noodle pizza”.
    Get back to your hotel for breakfast & relax, then you will visit Binh Thuy Old House where you will meet the present owner of this beautiful home and its furnishings.
    After that, transfer to Rach Gia with 2 hours driving to take the speed boat to Phu Quoc Iisland (13.30 – 15.30)
    Upon arrival at Phu Quoc, you will be picked up and transferred to hotel. Check in & relax.

  10. DAY 10: PHU QUOC - FREE DAY AT LEISURE
